About Us

Global Network for Cybersolution (Cybersolution) is established to communicate the African perspective that protecting our critical information infrastructures has, in just a few short years, become as essential to the safety and well-being of our citizens and our economy as the physical protection of government buildings, airlines, or public gathering places

Vision Statement

  1. To become the 1st African’s independent cybersecurity technology research and solution organization to African enterprises and government institutions.
  2. To produce by the year 2015,  generations of globally certified African cybersecurity professionals via  its Centre for  African Cybersecurity Research and Development (CACRD).
  3. To become African’s  rallying point for Cybersecurity Industries. 

Mission Statement

We want to deliver anti-cybercrime and cybersecurity strategies, and multi-disciplinary solutions via mobilization of indigenous African professionals and experts in Diasporas, necessary to provide a safe and a secure cyberspace for the Nations of Africa, for African enterprises, and government institutions.

12-Point Objectives

  1. To initiate National cybersecurity awareness and African-wide sector based campaign against all forms of cyber-related crime including software piracy from individual, enterprise to government institutions.
  2. To vigorously promote the inclusion of anti-cybercrime and anti-piracy education in the nation’s school curriculum and creation of Cybersecurity National Day for nationwide awareness.
  3. To initiate annual interactive African platform/event to address the challenges of Global Cyber-Security as it affect African developing nations.
  4. To put in place national and private sector cyber-security solution awareness framework, bringing up international principles and global cybersecurity solutions, and allowing rapid harmonization among all tiers of governments and stakeholders at the National, regional and African level.
  5. To develop collaborative cybersecurity strategies capable of transforming African cyberspace ,IT systems and infrastructures into globally reliable and secured economy platform for nation’s economy accelerated growth as encapsulated in the economic vision of the African Leaders, The New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
  6. To become independent cybersecurity solution advisory to African National governments and enterprises via our independent African cybersecurity venerability and solution analysis, research and development programmes.
  7. To transform - via persuasions and education, workshop and seminar - users and local channels of pirated software into formidable strategic partners, genuine users and distribution channels of secure and legal software. 
  8. To transform cyber-criminal attitude to cyber-innovative mindsets.
  9. To create cybercrime surveillance group to assist government regulatory and law enforcement agencies in tracking cybercriminals and offenders.
  10. To prepare and equip all Cybersolution members toward the mission statements and the vision ahead through cybersecurity skill empowerment, training, certifications, web-based discussions, special seminars, interactive workshop, and online web-based resources, and international exchange study programmes. 
  11. To organize annual African cybersecurity recognition award  to enterprise, individuals, institutions, Nations with highest level of contributions and compliances to African cybersecurity standards.
  12. To continually and proactively working with various National, International agencies, Multinational and corporate bodies, relevant trade associations, cybersecurity analysts, individuals, related NGOs, as well as various  friendly foreign missions for mutual assistance and strategic partnership on the global initiatives against cybercrime.
